A deeply nourishing bowl made to warm the body, calm the mind, and support gentle strength from within.
This soup is inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, where food is used as daily medicine:
TCM Wisdom:
Shiitake Mushrooms, shiitake supports Wei Qi (immune energy), nourishes the blood, and helps dispel dampness, grounding and fortifying, especially during seasonal transitions.
Fox Nuts (Makhana), Used to strengthen the Spleen and Kidneys, fox nuts help reduce dampness, support digestion, and provide steady, balanced energy.
Lotus Seeds, Lotus seeds calm the Heart and Spirit (Shen), nourish the Spleen, and support Kidney essence, often used to ease anxiety and encourage restful sleep.
Ayurvedic Wisdom:
Shiitake Mushrooms Shiitake are grounding and nourishing. In Ayurvedic terms, they help build Ojas (vital essence), support immunity, and provide steady strength. Their earthy quality helps anchor Vata and bring stability to the nervous system.
Fox Nuts (Makhana) are highly regarded in Ayurveda as a rejuvenating food. They strengthen the kidneys, support reproductive health, and build Ojas. They are especially balancing for Vata and Pitta, promoting calm energy and sustained vitality.
Lotus seeds are cooling, sweet, and stabilising. They help calm excess Pitta, support the heart, and nourish the reproductive tissues (Shukra dhatu). They are also known to promote emotional balance and peaceful sleep.
A comforting tonic to slow down, restore balance, and reconnect with your roots.
